We enter a new year with new hopes. Hopes that our transgressions of the last cycle are forgotten and that this upcoming annum is a prosperous one. Creativity does not abide by the the roman calendar and Ski is at one with creativity. You put out good stuff last year, you put out good stuff this year, all that changes is the timestamp on the photograph. Portishead - Chase The Tear

English music ensemble Portishead make their return with this latest video for their single, Chase The Tear. Great to see them back, and for good reason. This latest video offering highlights Depeche Mode’s third single release, Fragile Tension off their latest album, Sounds of The Universe. The video directed by Rob Chandler & Barney Steel, and highlights some crazy, engaging psychedelic pixelation of things including the band themselves. Vampire Weekend [Cousins]

New York-based indie rock band Vampire Weekend present the video to the first single Cousins off their upcoming second album Contra. In the Garth Jennings-directed clip the band take us on a trip up and down – and vice versa – a long alley matching perfectly the manically festive, church-belled racer. Contrais scheduled to be released on January 11 via XL Recordings.

Check out Grizzly Bear's new video for 'Ready, Able' off their latest record Veckatimest. The video was made by artist/director Allison Schulnik as a returned favor for the band, who lent her a few of their songs for one of her short claymation films, 'Hobo Clown'.
